Default Caution: Rear Projection TV's Found to Release Radiation!!!

It has recently come into account that 68% of the Rear-Projection TV's Americans own that the bulb releases radiation after leaving the TV on for more than three hours and is found to cause cancer. Personally, because of this, I am selling my TV and getting a flat-panel soon. Let this be a warning to all of you. If you just have to keep your Rear-Projection TV, I reccomend getting a new bulb that Sony is making to fix this problem. It should be out in mid-2007.

Aren't the rear projection bulbs simply large halogen bulbs? My workplace is full of large halogen bulbs, as are many building. I haven't heard of any radiation scares from any other halogen bulbs. Anyhow, I'll be keeping my TV. I rarely watch TV for more than a couple of hours at a time. On a side note, it seems like almost everything causes cancer these days. We'll all be mutants soon enough.
