Default trouble with connecting pc2tv converter to hd set.need help bros!!!

im having trouble getting my pc to tv coverter to work with my rca hd monitor (d52w26).when i connect thru the svid jack (no matter what connection i use)the picture flickers badly and the colors go in and out.I dont know if its the device (I dont think so) ive use this device on a lot of tvs with svideo inputs and its always worked. heres the device , (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...7804&CatId=1430 )The Kworld PC to TV Video Box.( please understand im not trying to get a hd pic from my pc thru the svid,i know thats not possible) just the ablity to show my movies i have stored on my hard drives..now for the video card its built onto the motherboard.the computer is a p3 dell 800mhz with 256 ram 80gig hd with dvd -r drive..as said before.this combination of pc to tv converter and p3 computer has always worked before .why not now.It works on all my other tvs.(standard resolution tubes)I changed the refresh rate to 60hz the lowest the on board card will do and still no difference.can u help me or do u know of something that will work.and one more thing the rca doesnt have dvi or hdmi connections.just composite inputs for hd ( i dont need hd connections in this case)thanks in advance.masada.masada2502@yahoo.com

You didn't mention the PC video resolution. PC to TV Video Box supports resolution up to 1024 x 768 at 60 Hz.

Well you seemed to have narrowed the problem down to the TV s-video input assuming you have tried the box on another TV this session. Since the Kworld device has a composite video output (the yellow connector) I'd try hooking that up to an input on the TV that you know will work fine with some other composite device, like a VCR, for example. Also I noticed there are some dip switches to set the format on the box. It could be the got inadvertently got set to a PAL format or some other output format. Beyond that, I would need to be able to touch and feel the thing.
