Default Blink Codes

I have a Mitsubishi 57" DLP and every now and then when I go to turn on nothing happens. I have the BB extended warranty and the guy said next time it happens hold down the menu & input buttons on the TV for 5 sec. to get a blink code.

The code was

o / oo / o / oo / o / oo / o / oo / o / oo

Each circle represents a blink

Thanks

Hi,I'll help you troubleshoot a better way by what the tv does and the sounds it produces. If you hear clicking or like wanting to turn on and tv shuts off, then your problem will be the ballast which is the board that powers the lamp.Do you hear humming, buzzing, whirling or high pitch sounds? if you do it will be an issue with the color wheel, which is a disc that creates the colors on the tv.If you don't hear any of that ,tv is between 1-2 yrs and it shuts off,it might be time to replace the lamp. You can find it here: Good luck and God bless you!
