test old colorwheel?

Default test old colorwheel?

is there any way to test a colorwheel to assure it is bad before buying a new one?

The only way is by placing it in another working tv.But you should go by how it looks like and the sounds that produces it.When its bad you will hear humming,whirling or high pitch sounds.You will also get color discoloration.This will be your part # BP96-00674A it seems there's 2 versions silver and gold check this website it tells you all about it : Good luck and God bless you!
