Default On-Line Plasma Sales.. Is is OK

I am tired of going to BB or Sears to purchase something only to be told that they can have the item in store within 3 weeks.. I have found the 50A650 Samsung Plasma TV that I want at 2 places for what I expected to pay locally..and can be delivered in 7/9 days.. Can or does anyone care to comment on purchasing something like this from ABE"S of Maine or CRUTCHFIELD? Both offer free shipping / no sales tax plus other perks.. BUT is this the way to do it?

Default Beware of...

I purchased a Camera from Abe's and once the deal was completed, I thought it was done.. the next day I received a call from someone who tried to sell me everything I didn't need or want for the camera.. When received, not everything that was supposed to be included with the camera was there.. Took forever to talk to someone on the phone about my problem.. not theirs.. and I was reminded that all sales were final.. I eventually go the problem resolved but not to my total satisfaction.. the accessories that I finally received appeared to be used or reconditioned. I can only speak for one incident..

I've bought some major items from B&H Photo, two AVR's, two cameras and just a few weeks ago a Panasonic TH50PZ800 TV and no problems at all. Of course, I buy ALL my stuff online...I hate shopping!
