The new 2006 models of JVC's HD-ILA are now available for PRE-ORDER. These models are scheduled to be released by JVC in June/July 2006. These new models are as follows:

Update
I was informed by my JVC rep today that these models have been pushed back until August, and that the reason for the holdup is that they are going to be able to accept a NATIVE 1080p signal, for a true 1080p picture from a 1080p source.

no bulb (coming in 2007)
I heard the 150w bulb is to be replaced in 2007 with a new design using three lasers (red, green, blue) and life is measured in years and not in hours. Blacks will be black since lasers can be turned off fully. Interesting.

These new 2006 JVC HD-ILA sets are due out toward the middle to end of this month....that's the latest from JVC at this time.
Most of them will be released by the end of the month, with possibly a couple of the models bleeding into the beginning of September. The HD56FN97 and HD61FN97 I believe are the first 2 that will be shipping per JVC. I just received tracking from my JVC rep, and I will have the HD56FN97 and HD61FN97 in stock and available to ship this week! The shipment is currently scheduled to be delivered on Thursday.
