Default Question about projector central screen calculator

I'm finally going to be building my screen for my ViewSonic Pro8200 and used Projector Centrals calculator in order to get sizing down for it. My question is, since I select 16:9 in the program, the dimension they gave me will build a screen for 16"9 viewing where I won't have any stray white lines or whatever happens when you try to watch 16:9 content on non 16:9 screens? Anything I need to worry about when making this screen?

I bought a 4'x8' sheet of the laminate from Home Depot (forget the name , I've had it for over a year) but it is the one that I saw on here always recommended. I'll be laminate gluing this down to plywood and making a boarder which I will wrap in black felt from the fabric store. Anything I need to worry about? Any tips? All info is appreciated!

Just found out they make black velvet tape that most people use for screens. Anyone have a source for cheap? Everything I have found is over $50 and I don't really feel like spending that much, unless the fabric will cost that much anyway in which case I may just go the tape route since it will be easier.

EDIT* Disregard, found some for cheap on Amazon and for the price of wood and felt from the store will probably be close to price of just buying this stuff. Anyone have any negatives of using this?

Don't forget when you're cutting the plywood/laminate to allow extra for the velvet border.

Yea, I bought 3" tape so I'll be cutting the board 6" bigger all around. Thanks for the heads up though!
