Default Hd9500

I have an optima, or maybe optivision hd 9500 projector that is also 3d capable. I haven't had it but for maybe three months and I believe the bulb has blown. Probably from playing my playstation on it I guess. Does anyone know if the metal halide bulbs would work to replace it? If so what watt? I can't find anything on replacement bulbs. The warranty was thirty days. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This thing?

If so, I am sorry for your loss. This thing and the others like it are known as "White Van" Projectors. They are sold by scam artists out of vans in parking lots for large sums of money when they are only worth about $50. I doubt you will find any parts for it as it is a no name old technology china knock off.
Here is a thread from the AVS Forum with a guy that claims to sell these things.. maybe try and contact him but I doubt he will help you. http://www./t/1427917/volare-hd-20k-...business/0_100
This forum won't let links to avs work.. just got to the under $3000 thread and search Volare to find that thread, it is currently on the second page if you want to just look for it..
Good luck!

As mentioned those are pretty much scam projectors but a metal halide bulb is 100% NOT what you would need (for any projector)
