epson 3010 bulb

I need to start shopping a round for a new bulb for my Epson 3010. It's at 2500 hours and its probably only a matter of time before it goes. Epson sells the bulb for 299 but I was hoping to find a better price on it but I don't want any cheap Chinese Crap though. Would any of you projector pro's have any leads on a reputable place to order from? I also figured I'd order a new filter while I'm at it.

While I share your aversion to cheap Chinese crap, after seeing that several Pro8100 users had successfully used bulbs from this ebay vendor (m-wave) (don't have enuf posts to imbed link

) w/ equal brightness and hadn't exploded

, I decided to get one. Don't know if they carry your Epson 3010 bulb tho. I have about 300 hrs on it now.

I have purchased different bulbs on ebay for a fraction of the cost. I have been pleased with them.

Crap... My bulb blew

It lasted 2872 hrs though

I have a Sony projector with a bulb rated at 2,500 hours and I'm approaching 3,500 hours...that's pretty darn fortunate for me. I purchased my spare lamp 4 years ago! Not even sure where it might be stored!
