Yep, health care is going to be cheap once .gov controls it. I mean look, it's only costing them $18,000,000 to redesign a website. at you silly taxpayers.

I want the the USG to control everything and just maybe things would be better for everyone not only the super rich. Then insurance companies can stop wasting money on expensive marble walls, flooring, real expensive wood decked out on their corporate floor. I've seen this at every corp-ate USA company from GE to UTC and from Prudential and Athem Blue Cross Blue Shield. So the buck stop there and now the USA will run the show. The others can also but they would need to bring down the rates for polices which to me is frankly crazy!

Just answer this one question. You think $18 mil is reasonable to redesign a fairly simple website? |

But then again, with all the "changes" going on now, maybe not. ![]() ![]()

18 mill for a website? Dayum, I paid $3.99 a month for a website and I designed it myself... for $1.8K I could have a website that reads minds... just think what 18 mill could get me... .all this government waste (and corporate rape/greed) has all but killed the US and yet, we sit back and let it happen

Since Richard Nixon in 1968 (excluding Barrack Obama), there have been 2 Democratic presidents.
Republicans will say ah, but the dems controlled the congress. Yes. They did until the Gingrich years in the 90s when Clinton was president. Seems all naysayers like to do is point fingers and try to find fault and lay blame. Why don't you take responsibility for yourself and your own actions instead of trying to blame others for problems! Just once, stand up and act like a true American and do something for your country. Let the system work. You can't always stay the same. The it's not broke don't fix it approach is not always the best approach. And, if you havn't been paying attention, the current health care system is broke! Someone has ideas. Those ideas are analyzed, discussed, agreement reached and action put into place. That's not socialism, that's democracy. There is no debate in non democratic states except for how are we going to make our way work. So cut the crap fellas. It's old. I'ts tired. It's lame and it's sick. |

Damn, what a tool.
I guess burning money doesn't bother everyone as long as someone promises them something. Last edited by hatt; 07-10-2009 at 08:58 AM. |

Looking at the current website, there's a fair amount to it, but 18 million?? Talk about a frivolous waste of money. The site doesn't need to be fancy, just informative and easy to navigate. Surely 18 million isn't needed for that. How many people even visit the site I wonder - I didn't even know it existed!
