I love 70's music. Especially the "AM GOLD" type stuff (Seals & Croft, Bread, America, etc.) and funk! Plus, I think the best music Waylon Jennings and Jimmy Buffett ever made was in the 70's....so, yeah...I can dig it. Freddy

The only thing that was good about the 70's was that punk rock started in the later years. Otherwise, it's the most forgettable decade yet.

In 1970, I had a chance to see Three Dog Night live and didn't go. I still regret that.

In 1980, I had a chance to see The Clash in Detroit. I went. I wrote down the band's entire setlist that night. I was soooo into them.

Times Up... that was a $1500 question.

Answer: Montrose
That same 8 track tape had another song called "Hot Sweet and Sticky" I beleive the young (at the time) lead singer was Sammy Hagar.

Rock n Roll for 70

Aerosmith and Guess Who

Grand Funk Railroad ran between which two cities ?

The song is Bad Motor Scooter by Montrose.

Also, the 2nd song you mention is actually titled Rock Candy, and the line is: "You're Rock Candy baby... You're hard, sweet & sticky..."
