Default All HD TV's have hidden camera's and voice detection?

This has been getting passed around the internet lately. Any truth or another hoax?

Yeah, it's true. I've already removed the camera from my tv and I have a white noise generator to drown out anything the microphone might pick up.

Honestly now.... NO. I'd also seriously suggest taking anything that website you linked with a grain of salt or perhaps an entire shaker. I thought I was paranoid!

I hit the "home" button of that web page and there are some wild stories on it! The internet is great for people with active imaginations to write their own nonsense, but a camera in our tv's does not sound so far fetched to me, that's why it caught my attention. I wonder if we have any electronic geniuses here that can probe deeper into this? .......BTW, that "fake Alien landing" story on their home page is a beauty!!! It's not the first time I have heard of that one either.

The main point of his argument is hugely flawed, so that pretty much wipes out the rest of his theory.

The digital transition is for over the air, not cable. All of his bull**it is based on listening and seeing through the cable.

Why only HDTVs? It could be in any electronics in your home, if it was going to be anywhere..or in your car! And it is a known fact, modern cars have computers and sensors for monitoring.
That's why the service manager is always so jovial when you pick up your car! He got a kick out of you swearing at the last jerk that cut you off, or rehearsing the story you told your wife last night as to why you came home late...

A friend of mine who is a big conspiracy nut said the same thing. The purpose of TV going digital is just a way that the govt can keep an "eye" on ppl...

And it won't be the last time you hear it either, people love to pick up these crazy notions and run with them. BTW 'they' would not need to put electronics in your home to hear what you're saying inside, they could simply use a wall as a sounding board with an external device

Guess I have a few crazy friends too, but I like to slice and dice everything and put it out there to hear other views. I thought the FEMA camps were for the swine flu My wife says when I oink like a pig she will call FEMA.

That's true.. they can aim a laser beam at your window pane and pick up voice transmissions with ease. And those have been around a while.

So they can see me bugging my kids to do their homework?

They must have most of my house covered since i have 4 HDTVs already, including MY bedroom.

I have no doubt big brother is watching more and more each year as the tech improves, but this ain't the way they do it.

The good news is that whoever is watching and however they are watching, I'm sure they are bored stiff most of the time.

Damn you okdude123!!!!!

I have been reading this wacky site now and it is making me laugh like crazy but eating a lot of time.

Read this one:

http://hardtruth.navhost.com/bloodlines.html

I didn't know there was a 9th dimension "and beyond".

This site also seems to have a thing against Republicans and particularly the Bush family.

Haha! The reptile thing has been going on for some time now. Some of it seems outright BS, and some seems like half truths and maybe even some truths. I know shape shifting is nothing new to many natives, but I need some time to swallow the reptile part yet. I don't like tipstir's link where reptoids look at humans as food.......yikes

Might be an interesting TV series.. although there's been similar themes.
