Hey, I actually own that Toro 1800. It works well. So far the biggest snowfall I've used it in was around 9-10", worked fine.
I think you said you have a really long driveway, make sure you get a good extension cord.
I picked up one of the blue cold weather cords, doesn't freeze or get stiff.

Wow! Yeah I don't have the blue cord, so the orange and yellow get stiff on me.. I found a huge all electric Murray 20" one same motor amp as the Toro you got their. But looks like its not sold in the USA only Canada and Euro. I'll end up with the Snow Joe Ultra 622 19" 13.5 amp one.. Their 12" works great.. But I got a huge driveway and parking area then near the woods.

Talking Tipstir's Youtube: SnowJoe 322 Video

Today had a heck of time to deal with frozen snow that got wet with the rain then froze. But I had the right moment to do a 5:00 minute video. It was longer but I edit it some crap out.

This link will take you to the Electric SnowJoe 322 and Me (enjoy!)

They don't live in the same state as me.. Anyway it was kinda fun to watch the others in the use a regular back breaking showel and I just go through with me electric shovel. I had to hold the video at the sametime I shot it and plus it was pouring rain on top of that.

If you have more miles on your snow blower than your car, you may live in Canada

Got slamed hard yesterday and into day with huge snow storm again! Me and the Snow Joe tackle the storm very well. I only got nite footage this time around on youtube just use my screen name as: tipstir

I need to get Snow Joe Ultra 622, eventhough the 322 did clear my driveway 50ft, snow plow from the town, 100 ft sidewalk. The 322 clearance is for 4" of snow I gone past that but it did keep up. Man I watch the others use the gas power blower and they creap while I go at a good pace shooting 20ft of snow infront of me..
