Postal Service removing all stamp machines

Need stamps for those holiday cards? Don't go to the post office, unless you're prepared to stand in line or pay with a credit card.

Stamp vending machines, where customers can buy a single 41-cent stamp or a book of stamps with coins or dollar bills, are on their way out.

The U.S. Postal Service is removing the stamp machines at post offices across the nation. By the end of next year, all of the machines will be gone. Customers still will be able to buy stamps at the post office window, online or at select stores.

That's the American way... pay more, get less. As long as it doesn't inconvience the postal workers then who cares?

Means less business for USPO.

As of january my company will stop using USPO per this and similar actions.

USPO will lose about $1million per year from the companies I deal with on this one thing alone.

We dont wait in line and use atm's or online exclusively.

I as a individual have.... but I too went online last year and regular order about 150 1st class stamps ever quarter.

But per my companies changes...I'll be buying from myself anyway.

Go set up an account at www.usps.com and you will never need to set foot in the Post office again.
