Mine is dumb but ill still admit it. I couldn't think of anything so I just typed out "anything" then the first two random letters I hit and that was me. Ha. Its probably the most pathetic name here but I don't care.

A girl I dated in high school had the AIM name gl0wbug or gl0wsomething, I forget. I thought that was cool and went with GL0W cuz it reminded me of Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling and the imagery just seemed cool, like a glowing beacon of light shining on the internet.
LOL, I dunno... I was pretty wacked out when I was a teenager. Anyway, the name stuck. I've used a bunch of different names but GLOW is the one that always stuck.

I was a weather forecaster in the Navy for 7 years. When I would draw up and trace my surface and upper air charts, I would always make my L's (low pressure) bigger than my H's (high pressure). 1 time while briefing the staff in Guam, the Skipper yelled out " Hey, those are some pretty Big Low's". The nickname stuck from then on. And since my last name ends in low, just more reason I guess.
For some wild reason, Biglow was already taken on here, hence the ww. Someone else must of made there L's pretty big too.......

In my case it is the initial of my first name and my last name. No real imagination to come up with this.
Sometimes I wonder if I am running a risk by using my name, but this forum is mostly non-controversial in nature and seems to be populated with fairly normal (using a broad definition) people. You do have me thinking, though. What would I use if I was going to come up with something "cute"?

Ex-girlfriend about 30 years ago. Nice boobs. Me thought they be oblique. She thought me thoughts were oblivious to a solid relationship. Me would not obligate to a relationship. Just wanted boobs. She obliterated the relationship. Hence - Oblioman. She started it.

I was signing up for my 1st Internet provider in my home state of NY. When I went there I told the guy my 1st name which is Michelle. I couldn't think of anything to go with that. So he said his girlfriend with the same name uses this Mischa. So I said that sounds cool. So I've used it ever since!! This is my e-mail and my user name on most forums I'm on!!
Mischa.

Shortly after getting into gaming, I felt it (gaming entertainment) had the potential to be the single most amazing form of technology and entertainment humankind has ever seen. Mind all, it hasn't come close yet and my thinking goes much deeper than what's available now (though stuff like Wii is a start).
With that mentality, I wanted to be a key player in the evolution of gaming. Instead of the typical names people like to go with (i.e. "I want to be King of..." or "President of..."), I chose "lord." Lord from how people were addressed long ago and not related to wanting to be a god or any religious meaning. Plus, I like they way the word sounds and the impression it gives. For example, Lord of the Dance. I use LordGamer as my main gamertag / nickname, so I decided to use it as my internet identity. Quote:
I like that.

atsc1der - Dunno where I got this from or even what it exactly means, but its short for ATSC Wonder. I like digital, and its wonderful, so there ya go.
I actually use a different username for everything else non-TV related, ajd344.
