Joining a HD forum... let me think....
HD something.... HDMan? No, thats lame. HDLord? Yikes, no. Any puns or word play to be had? No vowels... 'Hd' "hid?" "hide?" Hide might work... (typing) Eh, thats funny enough. I used to love that game back in the day.

A long long time ago, back in 1997 to be exact. I was trying to come up with an i.d. for a yahoo account. As I was pondering the many possibilities, I noticed a headline about an E-coli outbreak in a popular restaurant. It occured to me that coli sounds alot like my last name. So I changed the E to R

Ultimo just sounded cool to me and is kind of an homage to wrestler Ultimo Dragon. Robo is because robots are cool.

It's a nickname my brother teased me with. Nothing to do with cars.

I'm Brad, and someone came up with Captain Bradbeard a few years back in the day when I chatted on IRC. However you were only allowed 9 character usernames, so CapBBeard stuck.

Diamond Ace. Hm. There's a bit of a story, but it's kind of stupid, and mostly involves a website called FY.com (you can guess what FY stands for). I originally registered there with the username "oboegoneawry" to make fun of myself for being a shitty oboe player. No one really got it.
Most people at that site thought I was a girl (they... still do). Don't know what it is about me, but people tend to think that no matter where I go, even if I don't have avatars such as my current one. FY.com allowed username changes, so to make fun of them, I changed it to a gender-neutral name, Kerri Ace. Kerri Ace is still my username at another site. After a few months it came time to change my name again, and I wanted something related to Kerri Ace, but different. While I was thinking about it, I knocked a deck of cards off my desk and all over the floor. The ace of diamonds was visible, which gave me the idea to change it to Ace of Diamonds. My username at that site evolved even further, but that's irrelevant to my username here so I'll spare you the details. When registering here, I wanted the name Ace of Diamonds, but it was too long (by one character - I was almost tempted to go with "Ace of Diamond" instead though). I switched it around to get Diamond Ace. There you go. |

As a young teenager I had drinking/party habits that rivaled Bluto Blutarsky....friends branded me “Bluto” for my affinity for Jack Daniels.

I like Chinese food and petite women.
So the name was a natural fit. |

My first name is Edward, Ed for short. Shouldn't use last names for obvious reasons...sooo Just Ed (JustEd). Devilishly clever say you
![]() I won't tell you what my last name is but at one time my handle was the initial of my first name and my full last name run together. It made a word some one thought sounded smooth and cultured, THAT real estate agent stole it!!!! Darnit (bet you haven't heard that word for awhile) ![]() Anyway wouldn't have used it now a days. I change avatars and user names on a daily basis.
Name of the day was inspired by the character Alcide Nikopol from Enki Bilal's "La Femme piège", part one of the "Trilogy Nikopol". |

Think modern muscle cars. Think classic muscle cars. My Little Ponies are, well... not Goats!
That and because my other forum name is too long.

Being a Dodger fan with the last name of King. Plus I use this name on every forum.
I use Jackie as my pic because he is the real Dodger King. |

Wanted to bump this thread - in hopes of getting some brand new members who lurk but don't or haven't posted yet.
