Mine is pretty boring too. I just used part of my email address. My first name is Mark, and as a kid if my mom was mad she'd call me "markus welby" or "markus" ! Or sometimes little bastard, little Christ-er (?), etc. etc. lol !

The "Mac" is just part of my last name...the Scot side of me !

Me ma was very Irish !

It has something to do with my name, so it has nothing to do with car racing like a lot of people think. I try to use this username on other forums as well. I know, pretty boring name...

I chose parts of the model number of two consumer products I like. My klr650 motorcycle is the most enjoyable motorcyle I've owned so far. My DMC-FZ1 camera with it's 12x optical zoom is a lot of fun too. My squirrel picture was taken with my DMC-FZ1. No way was I going to give out my real name. Why ask for trouble?

I like this forum as a soothing anodyne to the political blogs I comment on. Plus I've learned a lot from you guys.
