Post X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) is the upcoming movie. kids are waiting for this movie because they are the comic and super natural hero lovers. This movie was based on the revenge of the man wolverine and his notaries love story in the past. Teens too can enjoy this movie for sure. It was the trailer I saw on free movies what makes me interested on the movie watching.

Film Review: X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Quote:
Bottom Line: A keen disappointment as action and effects take over from a poorly conceived story.

I saw the midnight showing last night and I really liked the movie. but there are some glareing problems that true marvel fans are going to hate. So let me give you a few things to think about before you go see it.

1. This movie is designed to connect to the other Xmen films so the story does its best to relate to the characters from X2 ( mainly Striker) and it explains Logans memory loss.

2. Not to much explaining or character development. You are expected to know the them and their backgrounds.

3. Very quick intro and most scenes fly by again not much development or explination.

4. Great Action but some characters are killed for no reason.

5. Wolverine, Sabertooth, and Gambit are great Zero ok but after that the rest are just there.

6. There are events from the original comic story are there but very sparatic and not connected well.

7. Lastly what they do to deadpool sucks!!!

Over all its a quick flashback type movie with a few really good action sequences. The basic story is intact and good. The connection to the other movies is there. It just could have been so much better. Still worth seeing. So enjoy. I will wait a till after the weekend to give a full review.

$87,000,000 over the weekend in the US of A.

"Wolverine" also pulled in $73 million in 101 overseas markets, giving it a worldwide total of $160 million.

Not to shabby.

The movie print being leaked online a month ago didn't hurt the box office one bit , in fact it may have created a buzz that contributed to it's massive opening weekend boxoffice . One month later and no one has been arrested or even accused which seems to support the theory that the Fox purposely put this movie online for a limited time to counter early critic panning of the movie !

I sat there and watch this movie.. Wow history of mankind and all the wars are there too. Still I think the Cartoon versions that were release with Hulk and Thor had a more to them that this movie did.. Very weak.. I hope ST would be better also ...

Default Best X-Men movie

I liked the movie a lot. I thought it was the best one out of all the X-Men series.

I too enjoyed the movie. I thought it set up the first X-men nicely.

My biggest gripe is with the production value. Of course the big action scenes look great. But, it was the non-action scenes that struggled. The lighting was all wrong and the scene with the students running to the helicopter was horrible. They were floating on top of the field. I wondered if maybe those scenes were added after the online leak of the movie and didn't have enough time to "perfect."

I just watched it...I hated it. And I'm not talking about the whole x-men story line or anything. I just thought it was terrible. I figured since it was gonna be a "next gen prequal" I would see something amazing. Even the effects weren't all that great. At least in last stand it had good effects. I seriously hope they are done with this series.

I thought the movie was pretty good actually. Quality of the picture was great on my 50 inch plasma.
