A couch and an HDTV to go please.

Stand Recommendations?
My $100 USD stand seemed really unstable after I put it together - the top shelf sagged a bit when I put the TV on, and it seemed to rock back and forth when nudged slightly.
Any suggestions for a good 50" flat panel TV stand that is about $150 USD or lower? |

Have you checked www.monoprice.com? They have some nice stands/mounts at reasonable prices.

The stand I have is very stable and looks/functions great with a nice cable trough to hide all the cables. I have gotten many compliments on it with my 50'' plasma. I payed about $179 on sale... So unless you can find it onsale, it may be abit outta your price range.

I have a custom entertainment center made by my father in-law. It costs about $15 in materials and it looks better than anything you can buy in a store, he is truly gifted.
Find your hands on friend or your buddy that works construction and get it done. Otherwise you're gonna have to spend probably $200 to get a decent stand that can hold a 50".
