Default Wall mounts- SIMPLICITY at costco

Just purchased a 50" Panny-pe700u- with plans to wall mount. For other noobs like me here are a few comments and considerations re the simplicity mounts from costco.

I found nothing re these on my searches. They list csavinc dotcom-- chief/sanus audiovisual inc-- on the box but I was not able to access that site. The 2 simplicity mounts I saw resembled sanus mounts to some extent, constructed of steel and appearing well made.

SIMPLICITY SLBF1- full articulating wallmount- 30-50", 150# max. This was my first choice- box info looked great. Dual arm support- pan/swivel/tilt - 199.00 (full price). No mount on display and I didn't look in the box .
**THIS MOUNT REQUIRES STUDS AT 16" **. I couldn't find that info on the box! I need a brace to fit 24" studs.

SIMPLICITY SXDP3-B1... low profile/tilting- 32-60", 200#max. This one has the same type of heavy duty steel bracket that mounts to the wall and will fit a variety of stud centers up to 24"-- seen similar w/ other brands. Then the tv with the attached tilt brackets is lifted onto the wall bracket. TV can be carefully slid along the wall bracket to center it before securing the tilt brackets in place with set screws. *** DON"T SLIDE TV OFF THE WALL BRACKET***
This is the one I installed and it works fine. Also, the tilt allows -barely- enough space to access inputs if needed. Full price 99.00

So, check your wall for stud placement to find your bracket requirements. I'd easily recommend either of these wallmounts as sturdy, well made products. If you need to get a dual arm full motion mount with the versatile 24" bracket the sanus mount for about 600 was the only one I saw in my LIMITED search. Some other brands including peerless and omnimount were recommended to me but I did not actually see any of those. Good Luck.

Regards,

The first model number is incorrect -- for the full motion mount-- and only the second one-- tilt mount-- comes up on the website. I will post correct model number if I see it again.

The correct model # for the full motion mount that requires 16 inch center studs is SLF1B1 or SLF1-B1.... These do not produce results when entered on costcocom but they are in stock at the Clearwater, FL. store. Also, searching SIMPLICITY at costco online returns only the 32 - 60" tilt model. Don't know why....

Regards.

Coupons!!!!!

Costco has May coupons tor these 2 mounts in their monthly mailer... I mis-placed the book so I am guessing--- I think 20 and 40 dollars off.
