Default New mount over fireplace is great

Researched "over the fireplace mounts" thoroughly. Found many "designers" saying over the fireplace is a no-no, but sometimes you have no other choice. I decided on the Down and Out Swivel Mount from Dynamicmounting and am extremely pleased with it. It makes the "no no" be a "yes yes!" plus good price and nice rebate.
It was easy to install and it's easy to operate. I posted some pictures at twitter just search @ColonelStreve.

panel screens are highly susceptible to collecting creosote and dust, the panels worst enemies, be on guard to prevent even the slightest coatings, panels are easily scratched.

Bad place to mount any flat screen if the fire place is to be used, it wont last long.

Between the heat and dust that panel is doomed I dare say.
