Default Recessed Pro Power Kits - Name Change??

I love the Datacomm Recessed Pro Power Kits. To mount behind LCD and Plasmas but I am now seeing them named "Flat Panel TV Cable Organizer Kits". Did they change the name of this kit?

The part number I used was: 50-3323-WH-KIT

I find that name used at Amazon.com is til lthe same and high priced! I use the kit at monoprice.com for roughly 47$

I use the Datacomm Recessed kits and plates with all my installs! They are by far the best products to use to get power behind your wall mount TV. Simple to use and very clean.

You are correct. Datacomm has changed the name of all their recessed plates. They said that the new names are better for internet searches. Here is an article about the name changes. See here.

The 50-3323-WH-KIT Recessed Pro-Power Installation Kit is now named the 50-3323-WH-KIT Flat Panel TV Cable Organizer Kit with Power Solution. Here is a great DIY video on how to install them. Chek Here!

I found CableGiant has the best prices on all the Datacomm products. The one from Monoprice is actually the Recessed Kit with Straight Blade.

The one you are talking about is the 50-3323-WH-KIT - DATACOMM Flat Panel TV Cable Organizer Kit with Power Solution . Which has the all the parts: Recessed Cable Plate with Recessed Electrical Outlet, Recessed Cable Plate with Straight Blade Inlet, 6 Ft. Extension Cord, Two (2) Old Work Electrical Boxes, and 8 Ft. of Non-Metallic Electrical Wire.

Hope this helps!

I really appreciate the information. I thought I noticed the name change. And thanks for the lead on where to buy it. Great Price!

the DataComm price is extremely good...the kit even includes the "old work" single gang boxes.
