Default I'm Due for an upgrade

What phone should i get? I have verizon and my current phone is the krazer, thank god i am due for an upgrade b/c i hate this phone. i have been through 3 of them so far. battery sucks, texting on it sucks, battery sucks and the front case is easily breakable.

So with that said, what new phones are out there that i can upgrade too? Also, what phone has the best battery? it seems every phone i get has a terrible battery.

I mainly use my phone for texting, the internet, and work(very minimally used for work)

One of those texters eh... Not sure how much you will use it for work (minimally I guess), but the Blackberry Storm is very cool and will do all you need. Pretty decent battery life for a smart phone and not too big and clumsy either. But I think they are still around $200 with contract.. The LG Dare is pretty cool too..

I love the storm it was my first choice but the 250 dollar pricetag with a 3 year contract was the big hurdle. I went with the Samsung Instinct and love it so far it is touch screen plays MP3's great and is very easy to navigate not only that but there is a hack out for it to open up the GPS feature so you don't have to pay your provider for the service.

I believe you can also get the instinct in GSM from what I remember. Check out www.cellphonehacks.com and a new one I found www.howardforums.com they list all phones all carriers etc.

I wouldn't get the storm. It lacks wifi, which is incredibly dumb. There is a new verizon phone with similar features of iphone (touch screen, digital KB, etc). I think its by samsung...? It uses the latest WinMo. I briefly demoed a coworker's phone yesterday. The problem with most 3G phones is the crappy battery life. My contract will be up soon with at+t. I am thinking about getting an iphone.

"Wait" for what? BTW, in life most things you don't "need", its what you want...

the Iphone is said to be with verizon soon since Apple's contract with AT&T is up in August.

If you like texting, how about a different model blackberry with actual button keys?? Friend of mine got the BB Curve only to text message because he hated Itap keys for texting. he didn't get the data plan, only the texting plan with his BB Curve
