That last sentence was completely and totally un-necessary. How old are you? 16?

Anyway, I was going to add that you are correct about the DTV transition on cable, however most cable systems are keeping their first 20 channels (the locals) as analog in order to satisfy FCC requirements for basic lifeline service. Plus they don't want to pissoff their customers, many of whom only have analog sets.
