Default Antenna angles for best reception

Before I climb back up on the roof and continue to try to tune the antenna install...What is a good article/suggestion/document for all the angles of an antenna, uhf or vhf? I understand tvfool.com station locations along the horizon but for ex: does a UHF loop antenna perform better with a nose up pitch of 30 degrees? Is it different depending on station?

Unless you can see a mountain that high, a pitch up of 30 degrees is too much. The right amount varies from none up to the angle to a ridge in front of the antenna.

The reception lobes on a loop antenna are on a line perpendicular to the plane of the loop.

Signal may come in at up to 10 degrees above level depending on local geography.

Some antennas (91XG, Funke PSP 1922 for example) allow for up to 10 degree upward inclination of the antenna.
