install question

hi all,
i'm in the process of installing an OTA antenna (CM4228/CM7777) to work with my dish 921. my current setup is one port coming out of a DP44 switch and coming into a DP plus separator, each output of which goes into the 921's inputs.

if i put a multiplexor after the DP44 switch and then another one right before the separator will i be able to run my antenna signal on the same cable? i was wondering if the combination of the DP44/separator might not cause a problem.
