Radio Shack 15-624 indoor UHF antenna

Believe me I would much rather put my Antenna outside I get indoors is not even close to the same but with a HOA that has fined me for sidewalk caulk the kids put on my driveway or leaving my trash can out one extra night and it clearly states no TV antennas so it would cost me $50 a month in Fines plus another $25 a month for the landlord to copy me on a letter the HOA gave to me already not to mention an eviction notice that would surely come after a few months of non compliance I need something I can hide in some way. My question to you would be would I be better off with something like that Channel Master Model 4228 in my attic until I can get out of this lease in the Prison HOA I am in or would I get better reception from that modified Radio Shack 15-624 indoor UHF antenna? I don’t have an antenna now I use Cable but would like to get away from them since I really only seem to watch the channels I get for free anyway. I live in Gilbert, AZ 85233 15 miles from a central broadcasting area (Yellow). Can you help me with this?

HOA rules cannot prohibit the installation of a TV antenna under the terms of the FCC's OTARD (Over the Air Reception Devices) rule which has the force of federal law behind it. Telecommunications (including TV) comes under Federal jurisdiction and the OTARD rule cannot be overridden by any State or Local laws or HOA agreements.

I'll have to check into that link. Like I said I would much rather put one outside and get better reception and to be honest I was dreading getting into that attic here is 100+ deg weather with no air movement in the attic. As long as it doesn't come down to a fight or that would just end up costing me more money wouldn't be worth it for a rental maybe for a home I won that you woud recoop the cost of fighting them over time. Thanks for the link I'll check it out. Maybe be back for suggestions on what to get. Being only 15 miles and and an almost clear sight to the broadcast towers I don't thing I will need one of those HUGE things I see getting reccomended I would much rather attach something like a Channel Master Model 4228 and point it at the tower and even that may be overkill for my situation.

Please try to take into account that there are some like myself who would love to have an outside roof antenna but because we live in a condo and have no legal control over the master VHF antenna system have been forced by this transition to either support the cable companies on unemployment or try indoor antenna configurations that generally give way below substandard results due to height, distance and indoor influence.
As I said in another post we need legislative help. I just got a phone call from a representative of NYS new jr senator, very nice call but I'm sure nothing will ever get done unless all of us start screaming!!
