wish it was more cut and dry...dont ya?

ya gotta love it...hdtv.
Ain't that the truth!!! Well, got my 91XG & CM7777 setup this past weekend.

Good news and bad news....

Good news is that from my locale, 73.8 miles from the tower atop Mt. Mansfield I'm able to get a lock onto WPTZ-NBC (14)!!! I get a few drop outs every now and then, but I think with a little more tweaking, I can get a more consistent lock.

Bad news is that I'm not seeing any of the other stations.
WCAX-CBS (53)
WFFF-FOX (43)
WETK-PBS (32)

And certainly not WVNY-ABC (13), as I don't have a VHF antenna in my setup....YET!!!!!

I just spoke to TIGER about an hour ago. He said possibly adding a little more tilt to the 91XG may help at getting the others. I currently have about a 5 degree tilt on the antenna.

I'm definitely excited now!!! Like I said, with a little more tweaking, and the help of a chainsaw to clear a few branches and a tree or two, I think I'll be able to pull in a few more stations.

Taking a little break almost done. Then will finish the wiring and setup the new rotor.

Made the mast over the rotor about 16" shorter to cut down on the load.

Looks good, Rick, but you probably need more vertical tilt on that XG-91!

I'm looking for a something like the Wade 10Y13S.
