Excellent point zip2play! If the OP can receive all the desired stations with a separate indoor antennas and doesn't mind their appearance then it's all good. He's done!

On a side note I have three young kids who have found that books and coloring are just as fun as cartoon network in the morning. Imagine that!!

Thanks again.
Another option, if you don't keep up on such things, if you have a fast enough internet connection you could get a Roku box (or some other box of your choosing). I bought 3 Roku's because we liked them so much and stuck one on every TV. It's wireless and portable to the extent that you can unplug it, take it around the house to another location and just plug it back in. It has more than 250 "channels" (Roku says 500, but...) And 95% of the channels are free. They run $50 to $99 depending on the options and model you buy. Currently the best ones are $10 off and free shipping.

They say that technically a 3 meg internet connection should be good enough to stream, but I think a minimum of 5 megs or better is preferred.

ROKU still has a monthly charge, right?

Having antennas is more than just finding something to watch, it's a passion.

Some people will understand what I'm talking about and some won't.

When you start splitting TV antenna signal between several TVs the signal gets weaker and weaker until you don't have enough signal for them to work unless your antenna is over kill and you live very close to the stations and your receiving a very strong signal.

I experemented with what your trying to do for several years I finally got an antenna for each TV.

If your within in 25 miles of the stations a 4 bay antenna will probably work fine. If your within 50 miles get an 8 bay antenna.

Looking at your TVFOOL your 46 miles from that stations they are in 2 different directions. If it were me I would buy or build TWO 8 bay antennas set one at 395 degrees set the other antenna at 171 degrees. You will get about 1/2 your channels on 1 TV and the other 1/2 the channels on the other TV and you don't need a rotor.

A signal distribution loss budget is simple enough to set up. If you do the math first, it eliminates most of the trial and error.

No monthly charge at all unless you have Netflix or Hulu Plus. There are also a few specific pay channels for things like 50's westerns and 40's musicals, but those are like $2.99 a year. Otherwise everything is free.

And I like antennas just fine. I have them on all of our TV's, but I'm lucky in that we live at the foot of South Mountain right under all of Phoenix's antennas. My problem after 40 years of cable or sat is that I'm spoiled and like having gazillions of channels to pick from.

It doesn't take long to sift through the Baloney Sausage on ANY board, after you've hung around a while.

Well, I would still have to pay for high speed and/ or any bandwidth overages. Not to mention outages.

I can truthfully say, that neither I, nor my parents before me, have ever paid for cable, or sat in all of my 56 years, so I can't see starting up now.

There are channels on my TVF that I do not receive, but there are some that I receive, that aren't on there. Go figure.

Lots of channels can be good, but I also wouldn't want a lot of them shoved down my throat, if I don't want them.
