How do you transfer contacts from iPhone to sim card?

I am planning on selling my iPhone 4 but most of my contacts are on the iPhone and not on the sim card. How do I transfer all of my contacts from my iPhone to my sim card?

I think you can't do it on a new iPhone. You have to put them on your itunes. But if your iPhone allows installing third party software (when you have done a so called 'Jailbreak'), you may download a piece of software called iSIM. This will allow you to batch copy all your phone numbers to the iPhone without the need for a PC or Mac.

For Mac:how to transfer or copy contacts from iPhone to Mac
For PC: how to transfer contacts from iPhone to PC
Hopefully these work for all of you like it just worked for me!

Don't you sync you phone to your mac? All contact info is stored in your Address Book app on you mac. Any new iphone will take the data from your address book when you first sync it.

I’m afraid you’re not able to do that because iPhone stores information on its on-board memory. You have to use the iphone product itunes or third-party software iPhone Contact to Mac Transfer to transfer iphone contacts to your PC/MAC before exporting them to your sim card.

You can use a free app called SIManager available on Cydia (iSpazio repo), it will help you copy iPhone contacts to the SIM card.

Hi, keep a backup of your iPhone contacts and contacts photos on your computer. This is how I did. I used this handy iPhone contacts to computer backup guide.
Backup your iPhone contacts onto computer as CSV file and then refer to the following restore guide.
How to Restore Contact from CSV file to iPhone?

Step 1: Backup all your contacts from iPhone to computer as .csv file format using this iPhone contacts backup software.

Step 2: Click on Start - All Programs - Accessories, click to open Address Book.
In Address Book, click File - Import - Other Address Book..., select "Text File (Comma Separated Values)", click Import, then browser the CSV file, click Next, Map the fields you wish to import, click finish.
After all this, you had import the contacts to your Windows Address Book.

Step 3: Open iTunes, connect iPhone, click to select the iPhone on iTunes, choose Info tab, in Contact section, check "Sync contacts with Window Address Book", click apply.

Why don't just put all your contacts on Gmail? And then on new phone just pull up from Gmail, its more easier...

Have no idea of importing CSV files to your iPhone? Do you want to transfer the contacts from Google, Outlook Express, Hotmail and more to iPhone?

I don't think you can because the iPhone stores information on its on-board memory. Your best bet would either upload them to your computer and then transfer the contacts to the new phone or to take it to the AT&T store and have them transfer contacts from one phone to the other.
