LG receiver to LG LCD via HDMI, no signal??

HI All,
I am new to this forum. Please help me. I have already wasted two days but couldnt rectify the problem. I am really frustrated.

I have LG AR702TS home theatre system (6.1channel) and 42 inch LCD (42LB9DF). The simplest thing I am trying to do is to connect HDMI out of receiver to HDMI in of LCD so that I can enjoy TV on surround sound. I am aware that I can use optical cable but I want to use HDMI. I have three HDMI inputs on LCD. I have 1 HDMI out and 2 HDMI input on reciever. When I choose HDMI input on TV, it says connecting briefly and then says "no signal". I have done factory reset on TV but it didnt work. I have checked all three HDMI inputs on TV and they work fine as I tested it with my Macbook. I have also set HDMI out on "TV" on the receiever setup. I have tried disconnecting everything and reconnecting it but didnt work. Also, I have checked that my TV and receiever's HDMI in/outs are HDCP compliant.

The only thing I havent treid is try using another HDMI to HDMi cable but I still think its not the issue because the one I am using is brand new.

In short, I CANNOT CONNECT MY RECEIEVR AND TV USING HDMI TO HDMI CABLE. IT SAYS "NO SIGNAL".

Please help please. I will greatly appreciate it.
