However what I was trying to say was that was that Blu Ray can expand to the next highest resolution when the time comes. It is capable now of a higher resolution other then 1080p. I know there is nothing that can accept it but that isn't what I was getting at.
And what resolution would the be????

Again whatever the next highest resolution is. Supposedly Blu Ray is capable of handling it as we speak. Again I know that there are no TV's that can support this currently.

I'm not saying it is fact what I am saying is this what I have been told.

You shouldn't believe everything you are told. This is just flat out wrong. Odds are also likely that PS3 will be a thing of the past long before we see any new resolutions coming to TV's.

And I didn't say I believed it I am bringing something to this forum that I heard. It could be or may not be true. But it was still something told to me so I brought it to the forum.

Discuss it. That is what a forum is for.

Evidence that the "Beyond High Def" marketing slogan is confusing some people.

Nothing personal Lazer. I understand what you are getting at.

Most people when they "hear" something try to cite the source.
It's a helpful way to trace the source of urban myths.

I think enough people have pretty well confirmed that what you heard is simply not true, nor relevant to any currently available or soon to be available equipment.

There's nothing to discuss, since the information is not true.
