Using Panasonic Dmr-eh65 With Hd Movies

Hi All,

i have panasonic dmr-eh65 dvd recorders (including hdmi out, 250MB HDD and also upconversation) and philips 37pf9731d/10 lcd tv.

i have some hd movies in my laptop that downloaded from forum pages
(the file name HDTV-1080i].Beyonce-Greenlight.04.02.07.(Today).[DD5.1] - VideoMan).

i would like to play that movies on my dvd recorder. should i have to convert that file to .vob in order to play it? i tried to copy original file from dvd/cd or sd card to dvd recorders HDD but device not recognized the file.

so im waiting your opinions. thanks in advance.

Your DVD recorder will not give you a high definition burn. It has a 250 meg HDD which will only record a snippet or highly compressed HD content. If you want to watch the HD content on your laptop through your tv you will need a minimum of component/DVI/HDMI out on your laptop to send to your TV. Bypass the recorder.
