Onkyo HTP-590 signal cutting out

Hello

I have an Onkyo HT-R590 and my signal keeps cutting out. I am using all high speed HDMI cables, coming from blu ray player, media center, and cable box. Using all of these has this problem.

After awhile of operation, the screen will flicker slightly and sound will cut out for a split second, like the signal isn't good. It usually happens with higher bitrate media.

What can I do about this? Thanks

try by passing the avr, using a splitter. Possible the avr can't deal with high bit rate? the idea is to rule out any offending issue.
