I am not familiar with your receiver, so I need to ask if it has a phono input? If it does, then switch your turntable to line-out to bypass the turntable's pre-amp (phono inputs have their own preamp) and connect the RCA plugs from your turntable to the phono input on your receiver. The make sure you select the phono input for listening.
If your receiver does not have a phono input, then you need to use a preamp*; either the one in the turntable or a separate preamp, but not both at the same time. Connect to any line-level RCA input on the receiver and then switch the receiver to that input for listening.
* preamps are needed for magnetic cartridges only. If you have a ceramic cartridge (rare today except in cheap record players), then bypass the turntable's preamp and connect the turntable to a line-level input on the receiver.
