Default Onkyo 707 Picture Loss

I am writing following the purchase of my new ONKYO TX-SR707 amp (Feb-10). My setup has been working fine but now an issue has come up which is causing me some concern.

Problem every 5 mins the picture on the screen goes solid blue leaving voice playing. If i restart the amp everything works fine again for another 5 mins. I have tried changing the cable and the problem is not confined to the sky HD box but also my apple tv and blu ray player hence me thinking it is now the amp.

My setup is a ONKYO TX-SR707 amp with Pioneer TV, connected to the amp is a Sky HD box, Pioneer Blu Ray Player, Apple TV and bose surround sound system.

Any ideas please?

Call Onkyo and they will help you. My guess would be that something is wrong with the HDMI board, but who knows without cracking it open and running some tests.

I would first unplug the Onkyo from power for 1/2 hour then plug it back in and see if that resolves the issue.
