Default Onkyo 805 display stopped

The front panel display on my Onkyo 805 just stopped showing anything. The sound mode is not set for pure audio. Is there any other setting I may have hit that would black out the display or is the unit in need of repair.
Thanks

Onkyo has a "dim' setting for the front display, but not a total black out that me be aware of. Unplug the unit for an hour or so and see if it resets itself.

On your remote there should be a button labeled dimmer. Try pushing that...
