No, I was a US Army Ranger, spent most of my time being a forward observer and doing recon also.

I wouldn't have minded being a Marine because they get the good press and once a Marine always a Marine.

Although we Rangers thought we were the cream of the crop in so far as the military goes and there was a lot of truth to that IMO.

I've caught bits and pieces of the actual show but I have disk one coming today from netflix of the first season so I can start catching up. I did however read the first two books last week (300 page books so not all that hard to bang one out in a few hours) and they were very very good.

Anna Paquin getting violently sexy with a vampire has got to be good. It looks to me like the first season stuck very closely to the book with some minor changes (bill killing a fellow vamp instead of eric for instance) but that the second season goes WAYYY off the track.

My friend was a Army Ranger, he got me into guns, and I was going to skydive with him, but decided not to. Now, my dad turned me onto firearms when I was a kid, but not to the extent that my friend did. He had a safe big enough to be a dungeon, and hold Layfette, lol. When we went to his gun club, we had duffle bags filled with firearms. IMO, ex military guys are the best ones to shoot with, and teach you.

That is true, when I moved to Kansas for medical treatment I was forced to sell my collection of automatic weapons, which consisted of a full sized Uzi, mini Uzi, M60 machine gun and a M16A2 because they are illegal in Kansas even though I had Federal license/permits for each of them.

Boy, did that aggravate me even though I got a ton of money for them (the M60 alone brought 36K) and that was because it needed some minor work and I was sort of rushed to sell.

I am very liberal in some ways and conservative in others but, what kind of state doesn't allow law abiding citizens who have to go through a lengthy Federal back ground check before they can even have one in their possession and pay a $200 per weapon fee to even have the license (which has to be with each weapon at all times) but, has the most liberal abortion laws in the USA.

Now I'm actually pro choice but, that is a little bit crazy.

Also the state is almost bankrupt and there are only 2.6 million people that live in the state, yet it has the fourth largest state government in percentage of people vs size of government and has very high taxes on just about everything.

One of my gun club buddies had a machine gun license, and when Mitt Romney was Gov, he raised the gun licenses so high, alot had to get rid of their guns, and he was pro gun!

I think a better argument about Fed license over state would be the medical marijuana law. While states have the right to have these legal clubs, the Feds bust them on a regular basis. Why does fed law overtake state law? Ya feel me?

That sucks, I feel bad you had to sell your Auto's.. I would be devistated if I had to sell my Autos.. I have a few of the Auto's you have mentioned..
A per weapon fee, I would have to take out a mortagage or sell a few guns to pay for them..

Federal Law is for the whole country, as while State laws, are for each indvidual state.. Feds have more power of this country then State, that's why they can override whatever state law they want too. Who runs the countrry?? The government. Government= FEDERAL workers..

Man, things are really starting to get interesting, what the heck was that thing that attacked Sookie?

Even the Vamps didn't have a clue!

And man talk about some really sick wound design in so far as Sookie's injuries, Ugh I'm glad i wasn't having dinner when I watched the show.

What type of doctor (witch doctor) what was treating Sookie injuries. She had such a dirty mouth, but was funny to watch. How about that other new hire waitress who started to take off her clothes go jump into the warm lake water with sam after he transformed from a dog to his human self, she has some of those marks that sookie had on her back, but this girl still had the scares still.

It's either MaryAnn the Greek Demon God of Lust (or Pan - Greek God of Sexual Lust and Orgies Is Depicted Prominently Twice In Original 1611 KJV Bible_) (Cook guy he uses to prepare meals an such) or Daphne could be the Greek Minotaur? She has the mark on her back. Eric going to taunt Lafayette to death, Sookie and Bill getting $10,000 from Eric to find out what happen to missing Vampires that's going to drag out I think. Just way to many events going on. How about the Hog/Pig that was seen by the Detective Andy, what the heck was he doing there at the toga party of lust and sex. I know he told MaryAnn Greek Demon God of Lust that he had received complaints about the music being so loud.

What's you with the young vampire Jessica and Hoyt he madly in love with her knowing quite well what she really is and happen about it. I thought the bit about the Wii Game was funny..
