VERY cool! Can't tell you how many times I have been frustrated by some aspect or other of a broadcast, & wished i could just pick up a phone & get to the person who controlled the broadcast!

Anyway, I would suggest that you start recording what you watch (assuming you have a DVR) so that if the guy wants to see examples, you have them for him...

Default Another Update

Well, it looks like Comcast is at it again. I was so excited about the Simpsons season premiere. Surely, I thought, by this time they've gotten all the HD bugs worked out. But no. In fact, they've gotten worse. The Simpsons season premiere was letterboxed. At least last season, sometimes it was in HD and sometimes it was in a slightly-smaller-than-HD format. Now we're back to the SD version. The picture on the Fox HD channel was identical to the picture on their SD channel. I know this is a rhetorical question, but what the heck is Comcast's problem?

WOOOHOOO!!!!! The Simpsons is back in HD. Yesterday for the first time this season Fox did not switch to SD at 8 PM. Up till now, it's been sports in HD, then Simpsons in letterbox. But yesterday it was full HD for the full 30 minutes. The first time ever they've done the entire show in HD (last season it was in HD only for the first 25 minutes).

Maybe my recent complaint paid off (probably not). Although the only response I got was an email from the local Fox affiliate saying it wasn't their problem. Regardless, I'm hoping for Simspons in HD for two consecutive weeks. That would be cool. We'll see.

What happened? I am so frustrated because Toshiba, the tv repair company and Wide Open West all acted clueless. Until someone takes blame I guess we all suffer. Not sure why I have not noticed this on others tvs.....only mine.

Of course. "The fault does not lie with this station" goes back to the black and white days.
