I am a new fan of 24 and purchased the first 4 seasons of the show and now am interested in season 5 episodes. I have TIVO'd the last 6 episodes, but do not have the first 6 or 7 episodes of this season. Does anyone know how I can get these episodes without having to wait till the DVD comes out late this year?
I have checked Ebay with no luck. I dont think Itunes has them. Can anyone help? Thanks |

To be honest there is no way to get them. at least not legally. They will most likely replay in reruns before the DVDs are released so if you can wait you can get them. Some of those file sharing/newsgroup type of programs will have the episodes but keep in mind they are not legal so procede at your own risk. Whatever you decide I am glad you discovered 24. I started watching it in the second season and been hooked ever since. Season 5 has alot of shake up so far.

Haha, I started watching it last year. The current season is season 5 though - last year was season four. All of the seasons are out on DVD now including last season.
I actually bought the first three seasons on DVD and watched them within a couple weeks! It's insane how much you'll watch at once! I got them on Black Friday last year for $20/season and sold them on eBay for like $40/season and made a profit! Last season doesn't have ALOT to do with the events of this season. But the first three seasons have ALOT to do with some events to this day. I'd get the first three now to get yourself caught up and catch the 4th season a little later. But yeah, the CURRENT season is the 4th. It's out on DVD. |

Very surprised no mention here... those bas**rds at Fux apparently and without any warning or explanation decided to simply skip 2 episodes last Friday! I had recorded them and was watching and when I started the second episode I immediately knew something was screwed up. I popped over to their website, no notice, explanation, apology, nothing.
Checked the forums... doesn't seem to be much there, but I did see some questions asked, followed by the usual "forum jerk" berating the questioner because the question was "asked an answered a million times." Which it was not. Poked some more (widened search terms) and it seems Fux deleted all the threads having to do with the issue. Obviously it sucks, but it's not all that unusual, most "company" hosted forums are censored if someone get too critical of the company. Then again, it would have been no skin off their noses to put up a locked sticky with the company line. Of course, this kind of FU to their customers will only serve as an excuse for pirating... the whole point of it is continuity. |

WOW - I would be pissed. THe last few seasons (due to 24 moving to Monday Nights - I am a WWE fan - can't miss my RAW - pluse Monday Night Football) I didn't watch 24 during the regular run - I would wait until the DVD came out and caught up.
When I heard they were re-running season 5 on Friday Nights, I was considering catching up then. I opted to wait for the DVD. Now that you tell me they skipped a few hours, I am glad I made the decision to wait! I would have been VERY upset. Sorry to hear about this....

After skipping episodes 8 and 9 last Friday, Fox skipped episodes 11 to 20, covering 5 pm to 3 am, this week. This brings the number of skipped episodes to 12. The final 2 Episodes of "24 Lite", or "12" if you prefer, will be shown next Friday.
So much for re-running Season 5 in its entirety as Fox had so prominently advertised. Who do they think they are? CTV?

Did you know that for Season 6, they are going to do something very different? The whole seaon is being shown backwards...i.e. they will start with the last hour of the day and "advance" backwards, one hour per week. So, you're going to have to watch it all the way through to find out how Jack made it out of that hold! |
