We have kept our "Person of Interest" TiVo season pass and actually watched the episodes but I don't think the show can last. I watched the first season and half of the second season of "Fringe" before just deleting 25 or so episodes of that show and cancelling the season pass, the show was just too stupid and I usually like stupid science fiction.

PoI's big brother's concept is interesting if you are into conspiracy theories, but the story got too formulaic for me. The writers tried too hard to make the inventor too quirky. I did wanted to know what caused his annoying limp but I stopped recording the show. Ugg fringe was another show I wanted to like, but again the chars were more annoying and cliched than interesting.

This is one of my "Must Watch" shows. So CBS promoted it all week and I had my wife wake me at 8 pm (after only 4 hours sleep for the graveyard shift). And its not on in Illinois. Arrrgh IHSA basketball instead. Both WCIA Champaign and WMBD Peoria chose to go off network for prime time. So where do I catch the missed episode?

Earlier this week CBS announced that Person of Interest has been renewed for a 2nd Season.

We continue to watch the show, my girlfriend likes it better than I do and she will be happy to hear it has been renewed. Alcatraz is being recorded but we have only watched the first couple episodes of that science fiction show. She always chooses Person of Interest if an episode is available when we sit down to watch a TV episode.
