Press Release: New Line of 5.6" LCD Monitors, 1280x768

Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to stop by and announce the upcoming release of our new line of LCD products. The hannaHDigital “HanD” series of professional video field monitors will begin shipping in mid September. Pre-Orders will begin in early August, with special pre-order pricing.

The “HanD56” features a 5.6” Widescreen LED backlit panel with a native resolution of 1280x768 (720p). It has a brightness of 300 cd/m2 and 500:1 contrast ratio. The HanD56 housing is made completely of anodized aluminum (choice of colors) and features recessed inputs, with an option for BNC or RCA connectors, an HDMI port, optional VGA port, Composite Video, S-Video. A 4-pin Power connector is provided and an option for Anton Bauer Gold Mount or IDX V-Mount battery system plates. Advanced menu options are built in including full RGB color adjustment, color temperature brightness, contrast, hue, saturation and phase. Adjustments are auto or manually configured, including scaling and screen positioning. Introductory price is $599, with a regular price of $649.

The “HanD56-UB” (ultra bright) features all of the same features of the “HanD56”, except it is Daylight Viewable with a brightness of 800 cd/m2. Introductory price is $999, with a regular price of $1049.

We have other units coming out shortly too. We’ll be offering an 8.9” 1280x768, 300 cd/m2 and a 1000 cd/m2 version. 2 versions of each, one with the same controller specifications, one with HD-SDI, Image flip, blue gun etc. Price will start at $599.

Also a 15.4” full 1920x1080 Director’s monitor, one with HDMI for under $500, one with HD-SDI for under $1000.
