Default HD Streaming and Blu-ray "Can Co-exist" - For Now

Quote:
There are already more digital delivery devices connected to HDTVs in US homes than Blu-ray players, thanks largely to the Xbox 360 and the likes of TiVo, Roku, AppleTV and Vudu.

I never quite understood the concept that there can only be one, when it comes to HD content delivery. Sure one delivery medium may become less popular (read profitable) over time in favor of other methods. This is the nature of consumerism!

But for now, any good quality HD source is a welcome sight.

The whole concept is like saying Bentleys and Chevrolets can Co-exist. There is high end and low end in everything.

Bluray provides a 50 Megabit/s datastream

Show me where I can buy an internet connection that streams 50 Mbit/s without bankrupting myself.
