Default Posting Articles - Please Read

We have received several complaints from other sites where our members have copied complete articles here. While I understand the many people have trouble or an issue with clicking on a link, the copying of entire copyrighted articles is a violation of the copyright laws. Fair use allows for a key paragraph to be copied with a link to the entire article. Please refrain from copying entire articles.

would posting the link be a violation? I never cut & paste an entire article, but I have been known to post a link. I never even considered a link to be a copyright violation. What say you?

Links are fine and you can add an excerpt, but not the entire article.

Here's an example from Home Theater Magazine that's ok:
Quote:

There are three steps for enjoying the right Flat Panel TV in your home: choosing it, buying it, and setting it up.

We'll help with tips for each stage starting with our top picks and a primer on making the right choice.

More see: Buyer's Guide: Flat Panels
At least that's what I understand.

BTW what we will do when someone (the website) complains is to delete the thread. So don't get bent if it happens to you.

As my favorite youngest daughter would say to me: Cry me a river, Build me a bridge, and get over it!

Thanks for pointing that out, i didn't know it was a copyright violation even if a link to the source was provided. I will only quote key paragraphs in the future.

Roger that!!!

I think some people just have no idea that they are crossing the Copy right rules. They just need an example.
