Question

Wonder if the games will be in HD and available in HD on the current DirectvHD package.

I would imagine this channel will find its way on to every major cable/satelite lineup before next season.

As you know, TWC is the only one of the top 5 cable providers to NOT carry the NFL Network. Even many of the smaller cable companies carry it. I would encourage as many TWC subs as possible to let your feelings be known to the corporate decision maker- Fred Dressler (Corp VP of Programming for Time Warner Cable):

fred.dressler@twcable.com

He's actually a very good guy who will respond directly to customer e-mails ... unlike most of the very ill-informed TWC locals. It's his position to this point, that the cost of carrying the NFL Network does not justify a position on the basic/digital tier (the NFL will not allow their network to be a part of a limited "sports" tier). With this new package, I would hope that Mr. Dressler will strongly consider adding it to the TWC line-up. But, the only way to make your voice heard is to e-mail/call.

I feel very confident that the games will be in HD and avialable on Comcast. The channel in my area that broadcasts the NFL game of the week in HD, once HDSE (208), now just says INHD on the screen, but the call letters come up NFL NET.
