![]() He is survived by his wife and four children ranging from 10 to 21 years. They have set up a scholarship fund for the younger children and any member that would want to contribute can at this address: Cashman Children Scholarship Fund c/o Commerce Bank 226 Boston Turnpike Shrewsbury, MA 01545 I have suggested they set up a paypal account for the contributions and if they do I will post that information in this thread. In the meanwhile if any of you have online banking, it is very easy to have your bank send them a check, usually without fees. PFC5 was a very valuable and trusted member and moderator here at HDF and had many more posts than any other member that I could think of. He was always ready and able to assist others, particularly new members, at every turn. He was stern but fair with his moderation duties and will be sorely missed. Please think about helping his family and keep them in your prayers. Edit: Here is the paypal link for donations:http://www.highdefinitionblog.com/PFC5.htm Last edited by rbinck; 03-08-2011 at 01:01 PM. Reason: Corrected date |

Oh God, this is just terrible. I had feared the worst since he hadn't posted in so long. He was the best internet friend I ever had and I'll miss him so much. He will be sorely missed around here, as he was the anchor of this whole forum. Someone who gladly helped thousands of posters with his wisdom. He gave this site 150% and I feel so bad for his family and that he won't be around any more. I owe a LOT to this guy and my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

My condolences to PCF5's family and everyone here at HDF who knew him. An aneurysm is instantaneous if it doesn't clot immediately. My mom died of one in 2003 at age 76 in perfect health.
PSA: If any of you get your worst headache EVER, get yourself to the hospital RIGHT AWAY. Mom said hers started in her shoulders and immediately shot up to the top of her head. Put her on her knees. Luckily, hers clotted or she would have died right then. SHe had surgery and died 2-1/2 months later from complications. Never was the same. This is a very big deal to me since I experienced it firsthand. Godspeed PFC5. Thanks to mytime for letting me know about this at my golf forum.

This news is so sad. Although I do not post here as much, whenever I did, PFC5 was always there with his valuable comments. May he RIP and my condolences to his family.

I'm at a complete loss for words. This is unreal. I've been wondering where he's been. It was really odd that he hadn't posted. May God rest his soul. He was a great moderator and will be truly missed by everyone here whose life he touched if only on a internet forum. What the world has lost, heaven has gained. A prayer for PFC5.
Almighty Father, source of forgiveness and salvation, grant that our relatives and friends who have passed from this life may, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and of all the saints, come to share your Eternal happiness through Christ our Lord. Amen Eternal Rest grant to them, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen. May the Lord bless us, may he keep us from evil and bring us to life everlasting. Amen.

A brother is gone. So sad,,and a bit angry that me could not say Good Bye, me old friend, Goodbye. Anger removes itself, sadness remains. Out of that sadness comes remembrance, and to those that are worthy, reverence. Me sadness remains for the family's loss and for our loss. Me reverence will forever live on. To PFC5, old friend, you helped people,,,,,,thousands of people worldwide. Typing through tears is just not possible,,,Good Night and godspeed PFC5.
