Of course this is the case with Samsung giving retailers incentives making them push these sets on consumers. The misleading/false advertisement for LED TV's will, sometime in the near future bite them in the ass...

I'll agree with this. I hate the (edge/side) LED LCD TVs. Horrid black or light splotches all over the screen. I intentionally try not to sell them unless they customer specifically asks for them and I've done all I can to explain the "pros" and "cons" of them.

The margins on them are high and Samsung has lots of retail space in every store. Just look at how many models there are of Samsung TVs in general.
