Highest Quality Video Format?

Hi,
I was wondering, what is the highest quality video format? I don't care if the download is huge too.

OK for about 5 years there are cameras with 4k resolution (Thomson, etc..) - means 4000 lines horizontaly, 33 million pixels. And in Japan they tested in 2003 UHDV - Ultra High Definition Video.

but you must get display with that resolution (IBM has it

and than you can expect:

"They have now built a disc recorder system made up of 16 HDTV recorder units with a capacity of about 3.5 terabytes, allowing them to shoot 18 minutes of UHDV footage."

yea, i read about this...i also think that chinese torrent site has been shut down...

Something happened to the server so its just down for now, might be up later on but its been over a week. You can still visit their forum and they post up torrents. Guess how i got Gladiator 720p

I found this other chinese site that has LOTS more hd movies. Its a forum and invite only.....I emailed the site admin and got access to their forums

Shrek2 .ts 1280x1080i OH YEAH! Since this site is in a different country its hard to navigate the forums because its slow and in chinese. But it works

The clips posted in this thread were uncompressed HD video... I doubt that any average computer would play these smoothly though.
