Default Where do you get HD videos and how do you use them?

Hello everyone, I'm new to here. I hang around the site and have a question.

Where do you get HD videos? Purchase or download them online? Anything else?

How do you use HD videos? I mean, personal use, upload them to video sharing site?

This question comes from a corner of my mind.

I have 2 sources of HD videos. One is Blu-Ray movies. I copy them to my hard drive and compress them to a 4gig file using RipBot. When RipBot is done I have an MKV file. The other source is BitTorrent where I can download movies already in MKV format. Once I have the movies, they get stored on my network storage device. I use Popcorn Hour A-110 which is hooked up to my TV and the network to play back all the files.

The interface looks like this:

In addition ,you cah do a Google search on .rar files,I got a number of 720p HD files in this fashion. The only caveat is that one HD movie could be as many as 30 or 40 files, and you need all of them which could be a real PITA
