I haven't even watched 1/3 of them, but there's no hurry, and it's nice to have new stuff to watch in the format for years to come.

Wow. I never thought I would regret selling my HD-A3 and dozen titles a few months back to use the proceeds toward my first BD player.

I just might have to buy a bunch of these (and some $3.99 titles over at Inetvideo) and keep an eye out for a good deal on eBay for an HD-DVD player. D'oh!

I am at about 300 HD DVD's now. I won't catch Bruce obviously but I had maybe 25 when Toshiba pulled the plug and had never purchased even 1 new HD DVD at that time.

Some titles will 'fade away' but many others will hang around for quite a while. Universal titles are the most plentiful (those on sale in this thread are all Universal movies), followed by Paramount and Warner. Some of the post-format war WB titles are already hard to find (Such as Bonnie and Clyde, Appleseed Ex Machina, Sublime, and some others), because they cut down the production runs knowing that HD DVD was a lame duck format.

FYI, pretty much all the titles that were $5.99 just a few days ago are now $5.00. Only a buck I know, but interesting...wonder if it will go any lower. I didn't want to chance it just grabbed 24 titles. I had Zodiac in my "saved items" cart yesterday for $5.99 and the seller had run out by this morning...D'Oh! Oh well, I guess the $8.91 (shipped, sealed) I paid another seller on eBay ain't bad considering I love the movie and it's a 2-disc whopper special edition with supposedly wicked video quality, and I was seconds away from pulling the trigger on the $25 identical BD version before I saw this thread.

This sale certainly has some great deals. Amazon has a Blu-ray sale which includes buying 10 Blu-ray titles for around $100 shipped so it has been a great couple of weeks for HD media on Amazon.
